I had my first interview in China today. The pay is decent but there aren’t enough hours (2hrs/week). The location is a bit far (opposite side of town) but then I can see more of Beijing. Hmm…should I take this job that might actually challenge me a bit (to improve my presentation skills). The job entails giving presentations to Chinese college students that want to go to the States to study. I would prepare 30-minute presentations and talk about schools that I’ve never been to before. What’s it like to study at MIT? I dunno. I can read up about it, that’s what they said. I did go to college in the States.
Or…I could find a hardworking, low-paying job in a restaurant and learn how to make noodles from scratch. That would be kinda cool. Then, I could return home and open up my own noodle shop (拉面馆). But I don’t really have time to ponder this question now. I have lots and lots of textbook stuff to cram into my head (没时间考虑这个问题，有很多很多课本里面的东西要塞进我的脑子里).

speaking of outdated, whenever you get an idea…jump on it. when you have something fresh in your mind, write it down or make it happen.
e.g. soon after your finish your travels, document them. don’t wait around or you’ll forgot what it is you wanted to say or do. or, you might lose 20 gigs of travel photos.
