I know you get asked lots of questions by people like me who are nosy. What is the most frequently asked question and what do you tell them?

The most common question I get via email is, “how did your site get so popular?” I don’t really have a good answer to this, but if you’re looking to make something that other people might be interested in checking out, I’d advise you to do what you love, be enthusiastic, be curious, build a network, get sued for copyright infringement, and just keep at it.

說明書：去年她從日本回到北京的那天，我把這棵茉莉花送給她了。last year, on the day she came back to beijing, i gave her this jasmine plant. while she’s back in japan now, i’m taking care of the jasmine for her. this year there are even more flowers in bloom. things are looking good.

this is my nightstand next to my cozy bed. i like sleeping in late in the winter. 我也很喜欢这棵小松柏。there’s this trail at 八大处山 lined with these trees. i like it too. mom, can you tell me what’s the name of this tree? i remember when i was little there was this nightlight in the hallway and each night before i would sleep i would squint my eyes and look at it. i played with the rays of light until i fell asleep. i was told once we should try to be like ourselves when we were little. my laptop has a light that comes one when it sleeps. before i slept the other night i was trying to make it work with my camera but it doesn’t. it’s past my bedtime. sleep tight…
