okay, they’ve gone too far. first, it was my unfinished milk. then it was my boiled eggs. but now, my toaster. ohh…this is not good.

i like sitting outside on a balcony. here at school my balcony overlooks the campus square. yesterday campus came alive as new students started arriving. i’m taking it easy outside with my laptop by candlelight while sipping on some green tea.

Yesterday, I had the chance to visit the Olympic Green. It's the Olympic Park in Beijing where half of all the the competition venues are located. The Bird's Nest is awesome at nighttime. I'm pictured here with the landscape crew. I told them I was a volunteer and from the States and wanted to take a picture with them. And I said, "China and America are good friends." Just wanted to make them smile. I think they liked it. I got to get Louise (a volunteer from the States who works at the Olympic Green) this photo, they might be looking for her. I told her to print out a copy when I send it to her.
