neighborhood volunteers always happy to drop some knowledge

while i was in the neighborhood (a short stop before i crossed the bridge into Mentougou on my trip two weekends ago to Lugouqiao on my bike) they told me…1960-63, they were about 12 years old, people couldn’t get enough to eat but they were still positive, they were tired to death from hard labor, but they were still upbeat, people today should learn from this spirit the people had back then.

吃不饱饭，还是乐观,
累得要命，还是乐..
要学这种精神.

轮子走一圈2.8米长度的自行车
上周六整天晒了太阳，从石景区山晋元庄骑车到丰台区卢沟桥，老车很耐用.

i like riding my old bicycle. you could say it’s Ford tough. and now with the new seat it’s a comfortable ride (bought it on my way home after having already ridden all day long). ready to explore some more. there’s a tea market i want to go to tomorrow.
