加油! (More fuel)

Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

For the love of kids or for the need of money? It’s definitely for the money, as the love for the kids is running thin. Whenever I come in with a good attitude, it usually gets a kick, somehow, someway. Maybe I’m too hopeful. It will still be a while before I can relax at work. Right now, I can never prepare enough, speaking of which, I have a lot to do. I want to shoot somebody. I need a few good laughs, no, I need more than that.

I know, I know..I just need more energy and hard work, or as the Chinese say, more fuel or 加油 (jia1 you2)!

幽遊白書

You1 You2 Bai3 Shu1 in Chinese or Yu Yu Hakusho in Japanese (”Ghost Files”). This is my favorite anime show. Now that I think of it, I love Dragon Ball too. When I was in China I bought the series in a 2-DVD box set. I already had the set from when I bought it in Hong Kong but I was missing the last 20 episodes, so I had to buy it again! But everything is cheap in China, just do not buy the real thing from a legit store (like a music CD), then it is too expensive. But, you can buy a legit Northface button up shirt for $10 from the clothing market.

Anyways, I finished watching the series. I watched it like I was watching a soap opera. Could not help it, it is so cool. I hear many people in Taiwan like anime because of the Japanese influence, Japan ruled Taiwan for 50 years. I want to go back and buy some more anime in China. Here is Yusuke!
