Ab·stract

Tuesday, May 31st, 2005

I got 10 posts from somebody who didn’t leave their name or an email. At first I thought this person was being sincere. He was raving about his own philosophies and we don’t share the same ones.

ab·stract adj.
1. Considered apart from concrete existence: an abstract concept.
2. Difficult to understand; abstruse: abstract philosophical problems.
3. Having an intellectual and affective artistic content that depends solely on intrinsic form rather than on narrative content or pictorial representation: abstract painting and sculpture.

I’m not so literal, so be it.

Zelda

I really love The Legend of Zelda and playing video games, or at least I used to. When I was little I would play all the time. Nowawdays, I feel like I should be reading a book or doing something productive instead.

I want it back…. Recently, I borrowed my cousin’s system, now I just have to find time to play.

Here’s Larry (大京), Lu (璐) on the right , Xian Yan (鲜艳) on the left and me (喜宝).

We were hanging out on Mother’s Day but we didn’t see our moms. We walked to the park near my house and went to eat at a Sichuan restaurant in MD called 峨嵋小馆。 I don’t want to say what happened along the way but they know.

I had to return my friend’s bike! No more riding. =\

I went for a long bike ride along River Road. I stopped along the Potomac River, road some twisties through the woods, got lost in the country, found a Tibetan Buddhist Temple and miles of walking paths, saw Whites Ferry leave for Virginia and made it to my destination before sunset. Raced the setting sun back to the highway and lost…finally, I found my way home.
